Using Layers

The finished example that we are working towards.

Get your files for in class use from here (21 KB zipped).

Do not mix layers and tables together.  If you use the layers and tables together, unexpected positioning results will occur.

Lab 8

This lab is to test your knowledge of being able to create layers.

Create a sub folder on your web server named "lab8".  Within "lab8" you will create a mini site.

This site must contain as a minimum:

• At least two (2) HTML files.  The two files need to have a link between them.
• The use of at least 3 layers on the first HTML document.
• The use of at least 3 initial layers on the second HTML document that that you later converted to table format.

Look at this example site for more information.

Use your imagination and creative skills. You may use advanced features if you desire.

Assignment is due at the next class period.  50% penalty if late.
